I'm seeing Jon Brion at Largo tomorrow. Today I spoke with the general manager of MTVU for an article I'm writing about their best college band contest, and he was pretty enthusiastic and intelligent. I mean, I should expect it - it's the college branch of MTV, after all - but it was refreshing all the same.
