Video: Andrew Bird – "Anonanimal"

From last April, a solo take on the best song from Andrew Bird’s solid new release, Noble Beast. I prefer this version — it’s more raw and unrefined, a musician building a song in the sand. Beast isn’t quite as fierce as I was hoping, given the rock action of Armchair Apocrypha, but it’s a welcome addition to his catalog and one I’m going to let sink in a while longer before offering a full review.
